Johannes is a specialist in cross-border transactions, particularly mergers and acquisitions,

including labor and employment matters. Prior to forming AKSET, he was a partner at a major

Jakarta law firm and worked for six years at international firms in Singapore, where he

specialized in complex and cross-border transactions.

Johannes graduated from the Faculty of Law of University of Airlangga, Surabaya, in 1994. He

holds Master Degree in Law from University of Gadjah Mada, Jogjakarta.

Johannes advises international and local clients in their mergers and acquisitions and drafts

complex agreements in mergers and acquisitions.

Johannes’s related labor and employment matters include advising employers and employees

on various employment matters such as employment agreements, company regulations,

collective labor agreements, as well as labor/employment disputes.
