Announcement - New member of The Lawyer Network in Italy

We are delighted to announce that Veronica Vitiello of 'Studio Legale RCCD' has joined The Lawyer Network. Veronica has joined the network as our exclusive Real Estate member in Italy.

Veronica is a partner at RCCD law firm (Milan Office), with more than 20 years of experience (18 years as qualified lawyer). She assists primary Italian and overseas investors, corporate clients, public entities, real estate investment funds, developers and lenders in all legal aspects relating to real estate transactions.

She is a transactional lawyer with broad experience in real estate acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and strategic alliances, and advises Italian and overseas clients on domestic and cross border deals in the negotiation and drafting phases of transactions to help clients to pursue their legal and business goals.

She has extensive experience in administrative law, environmental law, public tender procedures, energy and the renewable energy sector and advises on issues including construction, road networks, state property, zoning and building, work contracts, both for supply and services, development of public projects, landscape and environmental protection. She advises several multinational companies on environmental matters, including remediation procedures for contaminated sites, liability for environmental damage, waste management, water resources management, and atmospheric emissions.

Veronica has held posts as a professor of law at Politecnico University of Milan and at the University of Bergamo. She has published extensively on zoning, environmental, renewable energy and administrative matters and is on the board of directors of the Italian legal review "Rivista Giuridica dell'Ambiente" (environmental law journal).

Prior to joining RCCD law firm, Veronica worked for first tier Italian and international law firms like Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (for 7 years and half), Gianni Origoni Grippo & Partners and Bonelli Erede Pappalardo.

She obtained her law degree, magna cum laudae, in 1999 from the University of Naples, Federico II, and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2002.

In addition to her native Italian, Veronica is fluent in English. She also speaks German and French.
