Eversheds has named a new managing partner for its Vienna office, as Alexander Stolitzka steps down after completing his two-year term.
Georg Röhsner, who headed the Austria office’s IT team, was elected unanimously by partners to managing partner after standing unopposed for the role.
Röhsner began his two-year term on 1 January 2013, while Stolitzka has returned to a fee-earning role and will head the office’s real estate and retail team.
Earlier this month, Eversheds’ global management announced that 166 jobs were at risk across the UK, Denmark and Asia as part of a restructuring tied to the firm’s new strategy. The firm’s Austria office is not affected by the changes, however.
