Firm
Sarrut Avocats is a firm which originates from the firm first founded by Jean Sarrut (1904-1969), lawyer at the Paris Bar and Barrister-at-law in England, who assisted Jean Monnet, one of the "Fathers of Europe" during his stay in Washington after the Second World War.
Already active in the international field before the war, Jean Sarrut resumed his professional activity upon his return to France and started one of the first French firms specialized in International Business Law. He also produced a collection of legal dictionaries.
