Sylvain Beaumont joins LMBE Avocats from Fasken Martineau.
Sylvain Beaumont, who was a partner at Fasken Martineau, has joined French firm LMBE Avocats’ economic law team, as a partner.
The announcement follows news that three partners from Fasken’s Paris office were leaving to join McDermott Will & Emery in a bid to strengthen the US firm’s African and energy practices.
Beaumont joins LMBE after two and a half years as a partner at Fasken. He joined the firm in September 2010 from Gide Loyrette Nouel, where he was an associate.
He specialises in competition and regulatory law, white-collar crime and litigation. Beaumont joins LMBE with associate Cécile Maugère. The firm’s economic law team now has three partners and three associates.
LMBE was established in 2005 and Beaumont’s arrival brings the number of partners at the firm to 13.
