The Consulting Consortium, the UK’s leading independent regulatory consultancy, has made three senior appointments as a result of the expansion of the business.
Former Financial Services Authority Manager, Andrew Glessing, has been appointed as Director of Compliance. In this role he will be responsible for overseeing and delivering consultancy services with The Consulting Consortium’s clients in the South region, as well as conducting skilled persons reviews. He spent seven years at the Financial Services Authority, managing the supervision of firms and conducting industry wide reviews, and was most recently involved in SIPP operator workshops and developing regulatory reform.
The company has also appointed Mike Harrison as Associate Director of Compliance. Mike has over 16 years experience in financial services, starting his career as a financial adviser before focusing on regulatory policy at both Huntswood Consulting and Deloitte. His main responsibilities at The Consulting Consortium will be the delivery and oversight of regulatory consulting assignments, skilled persons reviews, and past-business reviews.
Rebecca Prestage has been appointed Head of Policy and will centralise the company’s policy function and provide practical guidance to both internal and external stakeholders. Rebecca is a Chartered Financial Planner and joins The Consulting Consortium from the Chartered Insurance Institute where she led technical services for the personal finance society.
