Landmark returns to 4-5 Gray's Inn for another silk

Published: Wednesday, November 7, 2012

Tim Corner QC has become the latest barrister to quit London set 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square after securing membership at Landmark Chambers.

Corner leaving brings the number of exits from 4-5 Gray’s Inn to seven in the past 7 Days. 11KBW hired barristers Charles Bourne and Andrew Sharland , Landmark took Paul Brown QC and Lisa Busch, and Matrix Chambers boosted its ranks with the addition of public law barristers Sarah Hannett and Chris Buttler.

Corner was called to the bar in 1981, took silk in 2002 and was a longstanding member of 4-5 Gray’s Inn. His recent public inquiry work has seen him represent Tesco on its bid for a major development in the Olympic Stadium area while other clients include Barratt Homes, UK Coal and Sainsbury’s.

Landmark chambers director Holly Gavaghan, who joined the set in June this year, said the established reputations and practices of the new additions would “strengthen and complement our planning and public law teams”.
