Charles Russell’s private client and property teams have been boosted by the recruitment of three lawyers in Cheltenham.
Esther Thackeray and Rachel Beeby have joined the Private Client team as associates and Katie Purton has joined the firm’s Property Litigation team as a paralegal.
Esther qualified in 2008 and joins the firm from Ashfords where she worked in the trusts and estates team in their Tiverton office. She specialises in private property work, with a particular focus on agricultural land.
Rachel qualified at Rickerbys in 2012 and worked in the agricultural team at Thrings LLP before joining Charles Russell. She specialises in agricultural and landed estates matters including private property.
Katie joins the firm as a paralegal assisting the property litigation team assisting on a range of matters.
Internally, Sara Wilson, previously Senior Associate, has been promoted to the position of Legal Director. Sara is a senior member of the six-strong Employment team in the Cheltenham office and advises on all areas of employment law. Sara regularly speaks at internal and external seminars on employment law issues including most recently the firm’s Managing People series of seminars designed to give practical advice to HR professionals on handling matters such as sickness and disability, poor performance and equality in the workplace.
