Appleby, one of the world’s largest providers of offshore legal, fiduciary and administration services, has announced the appointment of Michael Cushing to the role of Office Managing Partner for the Jersey office.
Michael has been at Appleby in Jersey since 2005, and became a partner in 2008. He was admitted as a Solicitor in England in 1992 and called to the Jersey bar in 2007. Prior to coming to Jersey Michael was a partner in a large City law firm. Michael practices in the firm’s Litigation and Insolvency department and specialises in trust and complex commercial and corporate litigation.
Michael commented, “I am excited to be taking on this new role alongside my existing litigation practice. We have a great team in Jersey and I am really looking forward to working with them to contribute to the continued success of the Group. First class client service will remain our key priority.”
