Global law firm Reed Smith today announced the appointment of Eoin O’Shea to its partnership in London. Eoin will join the firm’s global regulatory disputes practice from Lawrence Graham, this month.

He is the author of The Bribery Act 2010, A Practical Guide, the major textbook on the UK Bribery Act, published in 2011.
Richard Spafford, Reed Smith partner and head of the firm’s commercial disputes group EME commented: “With the continuing development of ever-stricter regulatory regimes in the UK, EU and US, organisations are increasingly seeking advice in connection with cross-border investigations and regulatory defence.
“Eoin’s reputation and his broad experience, across our key industry sectors and geographies, will ensure that Reed Smith is even better placed to assist clients facing the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.”
Reed Smith has more than 800 disputes lawyers across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States.
Eoin O’Shea added: “Reed Smith’s disputes group has tremendous expertise and a very wide international reach. The firm's global regulatory enforcement practice has grown significantly over recent years, and has real strength in depth. I’m very much looking forward to working with Reed Smith’s global disputes team.”
