Mr. Haddock was born in Wichita, Kansas, on January 4, 1955, and was admitted to practice law in 1980 in Kansas and the U.S. District Court, District of Kansas. Brad received a Bachelor of Science degree from Phillips University in 1977, where he was recognized as a Representative Phillipian (selected as one of 12 top senior students). As an undergraduate, he participated in the Washington Semester Government Intern Program at American University and worked for Congressman Garner E. Shriver as a member of his staff in 1976. Brad received his law degree from Washburn University School of Law in 1980, where he served as the Executive Editor of the Washburn Law Journal and graduated cum laude.
Mr. Haddock offers a wide-range of legal expertise and experience, as well as industry-specific legal and business knowledge. Prior to joining Biggs Law Group, LC, Mr. Haddock was the Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Koch Chemical Technology Group, LLC ("KCTG"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch Industries, Inc., the largest privately held company in the United States. During his distinguished career at Koch, Brad served as lead counsel for several key businesses, including Koch's refining, chemicals, and asphalt businesses, and the group of 10 global manufacturing and engineering businesses that became KCTG. He materially participated in, or was primarily responsible for, more than 65 domestic and international acquisitions and divestitures during his tenure at Koch.
Mr. Haddock is serving his second term as a member of the board of directors for the American Arbitration Association. During his tenure at Koch, he was an active member of the Association of Corporate Counsel. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, Christian Legal Society, Kansas Bar Association, Licensing Executives Society, and the Wichita Bar Association. He has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer review rating available for legal expertise and ethics.
A lifelong member of the Boy Scouts of America ("BSA"), Brad is a Distinguished Eagle Scout, served as Quivira Council President, and has been recognized by the National Council with its highest commendation, the Silver Buffalo Award, for his noteworthy and extraordinary volunteer service to youth. He currently serves as Chairman of the National Order of the Arrow Committee (Scouting's national honor society), Program Chairman for the 2010 100th anniversary National BSA Jamboree, and as a member of the Outdoor Adventures Group, Outdoor Program Committee, Properties Support Committee, Talent Management Support Committee, and National Advisory Council.
