Mrs. Christina Vayanos Kostopoulos is attorney-at-law and partner of VAYANOS KOSTOPOULOS Law Firm (1900), with specialization in Intellectual Property law in Greece and abroad. As an attorney she is admitted at the Court of Appeal for civil and administrative matters and has obtained expertise in defending contentious matters before the Greek Courts. Christina’s practice focuses on prosecution and portfolio management for trademarks, patents, designs, domains and other IP rights on behalf of major industrial and commercial clients, domestic and foreign ones, such as food industries, consumer goods manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and others. Belonging to the fourth generation in succession of the founders of VAYANOS KOSTOPOULOS Law Firm, she has been working actively in the IP field since 1992 in this firm.
Christina graduated from the Athens University Law School and holds a Master of Jurisprudence of the Law School of Durham University, UK with specialization in human rights. She is fluent in English and German.
Christina is member of various international associations of IP interest, such as AIPPI, INTA, PTMG and others. Besides her managerial duties in the firm, she has gathered invaluable experience in handling effectively complex consolidation projects for international trademark and patent portfolios, combined with client-tailored solutions corresponding to PTO and TMO requirements.
