Shivendra works on franchise assignments with various clients. This includes evaluating and structuring the franchise model and drafting of franchise- related documents including franchise agreement, collaboration agreement, product licence agreement, etc.; advising and providing regulatory assistance in connection with applying to governmental agencies for seeking approval of investments into India; resolution of franchisor /franchisee/consumer disputes through arbitration, conciliation, mediation and through court process.

- Advised a leading US educational group on issues pertaining to franchisor-franchisee relationship, payment of royalties outside India and making representations to governmental agencies

- Advised a leading international fashion house on capital restructuring and brand management.

Between1991-1993, worked as a litigator.

Between1993-1996, worked for the accounting and consulting firm, Arthur Andersen, as in-house counsel.

In 1997, set up the firm, ‘Kundra & Bansal’, along with Mr. Amit Bansal, a former colleague at Arthur Andersen. Since then, Shivendra has served as a partner with Kundra & Bansal.
