Ghada M. Darwish Law Firm is established by an experienced Qatari lawyer. Ghada, who is currently a PHD candidate at Cairo University, has graduated from Qatar University with a Bachelor of Law degree.

Following her graduation she joined the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) in Qatar. Effectively establishing the legal department within the Committee, she was appointed in the position of Head of Investigations and Legal Advice. Her duties comprised of reviewing and considering petitions and complaints of human rights abuses, meeting concerned parties, formulating legal opinions and advising management and the parties concerned on their legal rights. She liaised with local authorities, carried out field visits and participated in preparing periodical reports.

Ghada M. Darwish Law Firm has launched an international arbitration division to help clients resolving disputes arising from their international commercial agreements and other international relationships.

The firm’s arbitration team members are happy to provide clients with in-depth legal views related to arbitration cases and to prepare all requests of arbitration before the leading international arbitration institutions and the firm is proud to have a vigilant team that does not leave an enquiry pending, or waste a client’s precious time. The firm’s lawyers and of-counsels possess a wealth of experience in representing clients before the leading arbitration courts and tribunals. Moreover, the firm’s activity encompasses all the regional arbitration centres in Qatar and the GCC.

National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) as a Legal Researcher until got promoted as the ‘Head of Investigations and Legal Advice.’ After that joined the Law Firm of HE Khalid Al-Attiyah (Minister of State for Defense of Qatar) as ‘Manager and Lawyer’, and then went to work with the Qatar University as a ‘legal researcher’ at the University Chairman’s office.

Following that, joined Qchem (Qatar Chemicals Company) as Legal Counsel and currently the Managing Partner of her own Law Firm. (Ghada M. Darwish Law Firm)
