Axel Hagedorn (1954) is born and bred in Germany. He has worked at Van Diepen Van der Kroef since 1997, where he is head of the international desk.
Axel Hagedorn is a sworn German Rechtsanwalt and a sworn Dutch lawyer. In his work he specializes in international Business Law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Next to that he offers advice to directors, supervisory directors and shareholders on different legal issues.
He regularly arbitrates or mediates in international cases, for instance on behalf of the German-Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
Axel Hagedorn is professor by special appointment of German-Dutch Legal Relationships at the University of Amsterdam’s (UvA) Faculty of Law.
