The Lawyer Network is delighted to announce that Sara Di Cunzolo of 'Studio Legale Di Cunzolo' has joined the Lawyer Network. Sara has joined the Lawyer Network as our exclusive Competition law member in Italy.
Sara Di Cunzolo (1980) is head of “Di Cunzolo Law firm” which she founded back in January 2008 in Rome. Ms Di Cunzolo is a member of the Italian Bar Association since 2006 and she is currently completing her Ph.D. in Administrative Law at the Law School of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
She has gained a significant experience in competition law, especially on the authorization procedures in the financial markets regarding takeover bids in Italy and United Kingdom, in public procurement and infringement proceedings, zoning and urban planning laws - both in the tender process and in the subsequent negotiation of the contract. Furthermore, Ms Di Cunzolo has a strong academic background as well as an extensive practice both on the judicial and extrajudicial field in the areas outlined above.
Ms Di Cunzolo has gained a significant experience in the field of regulation of aviation law and, from 2012, she is in charge of the legal studies sector of the European Drone Pilot Association.
The firm is composed by several senior and junior associates with different specialization and areas of practice. It can address the clients’ need both at the domestic as well as international level due to its strong global vocation and the legal assistance it offers at the Public administration bodies and private corporations.
She has been teaching competition and public procurement law since October 2006 at the Law School of the University of Rome, La Sapienza where she collaborates also at the post graduate course in European Private Law, as well as with several postgraduate courses organized by public bodies (i.e. Regions and municipalities) and private corporations.
She actively cooperates with the Institute of Public Law of the University of Rome and collaborates on a regular basis with Professor Vincenzo Cerulli Irelli and Professor Giuseppe Morbidelli, Full Professors of Administrative Law at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. She coordinates and organizes since 2006 the postgraduate course in "Organization and operating methods of the Public Administration" at the Law School of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
She wrote several monographs and articles published in major law journals in the fields of competition law and public procurement and she is a regular lecturer at national and international symposia.
Ms Di Cunzolo regularly collaborates with the University of Buenos Aires C.U.I.A. where she has been called several times as an expert to teach in Spanish on public procurement and infringement proceedings in the European Union; moreover, she has regular exchanges with the London school of Economics and Political Science of London where she is currently researching for her Ph.D. dissertation on the authorization procedures in the financial markets regarding takeover bids in Italy and United Kingdom.
Ms Di Cunzolo is Italian mother tongue and is fluent in English and Spanish.
