I have advised extensively on all aspects of financial services (including Insurance) for over 30 years. I have represented Financial Institutions at various Government Tribunals and have advised and provided litigation services, to Financial Institutions and Corporate entities (particularly in the Energy Section) to include insolvencies. I also provide legal services to two Multi National Energy suppliers in the Irish Market.

The firm was founded in 1898 and is located in the heart of the International Financial Services Centre in Dublin. Over the years the firm has acted for Multi National Companies as well as Irish Corporate entities and high net worth individuals. The firm has established a reputation in the areas of finance, corporate and regulatory work. In addition it has been successful in maintaining its reputation as a leading litigation law firm within the Commercial Court division of the High Court.

The Firm successfully sued Ireland in the European Court of Human Rights in Strasberg in a discrimination case. We acted in an International Arbitration in Paris on behalf of an American client seeking compensation from an Eastern European Country. We have represented an American client in litigation in Ireland arising from a pyramid scheme and off shore trusts. We have advised on and created off shore trusts for clients. We have advised the Irish section of a multinational consumer products company on legal issues in Ireland. We have advised foreign Financial Institutions on establishing in Ireland.

I have addressed audiences in Paris, Oslo and Dublin on legal implications and financial benefits of inward investment in Ireland. I have also addressed Financial Institutions on topical matters from time to time.

We operate in Paris in conjunction with a French law firm which enjoys similar facilities in Ireland. We are members of the Ireland/France Chamber of Commerce and the Ireland German Chamber of Commerce.

The Firm has always engaged in Pro Bono work in appropriate situations and particularly with regard to personal injury claims. Each case is considered on its merits.
